The entire collection can be searched online via swisscovery.
Major sections include catalogues of exhibitions, collections and catalogues raisonnés from both Switzerland and elsewhere, international publications on art theory and technology, journals of art scholarship and auction catalogues. In 1999 the Library was able to expand its holdings on European art history when it acquired the «Prof. Eduard Hüttinger Library / Annette Bühler Donation», which contains around 12,600 volumes.
Opening hours
Monday to Friday, 9.30 to 12 am and 1.30 to 5.30 pm (non-lending library)
The library is closed on the following public holidays: 1 January and 2 January (Berchtold’s Day), Good Friday, Easter Monday, Sechseläuten in Zurich (from 12 noon), Labour Day (1 May), Ascension Day, Whit Monday, National Day (1 August), Knabenschiessen in Zurich (from 12 noon), 24 December until 2 January.
On the day before Good Friday, Labour Day (1 May), Ascension Day and National Day (1 August) the library closes early at 4 pm.

Barrier-free access
For barrier-free access to the SIK-ISEA Library, please use the entrance on Feldeggstrasse at no. 84. You can ring the bell or else contact us by phone (+41 44 388 51 60). Wheelchairs can circulate freely throughout the Library. A wheelchair-accessible toilet is available.
